Delete your Dancelinked account

This page explains how to request deletion of your account and the personal data associated with it in the Dancelinked mobile application, published by Dancelinked sp. z o.o. (ul. Andrzeja Sobczaka 1/56, 61-131 Poznań, Poland — KRS 0001243803 · NIP 7822970308 · REGON 544849866). You can delete your account yourself from inside the app, or send us a deletion request by email — both options are described below.

Option A — Delete your account from inside the app

This is the fastest way and takes effect immediately.

  1. Open the Dancelinked app and sign in if you are not already signed in.
  2. From the Home screen, tap Account.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Delete account.
  5. Read the confirmation dialog, then tap Confirm to delete your account.

Your account is deactivated immediately: sign-in is disabled, push notifications stop, and your profile, posts and applications are no longer visible to other users or available in search. The underlying data is then permanently deleted within at most 30 days, following the retention windows described in the table below.

Option B — Request deletion by email

If you can no longer sign in to your account, send an email from the address registered to your Dancelinked account to:

Please use the subject line "Account deletion request" and, if you remember it, include the full name shown on your profile so we can locate the account. We may ask you to confirm ownership before we act on the request. We respond to verified requests within 30 days, in line with Article 12(3) of the GDPR.

What happens to your data

The table below shows exactly which categories of data are deleted, which are anonymised, and how long any residual records are kept. This list is consistent with §7 and §10 of our Privacy Policy.

Chat messages you sent Your name is replaced by a placeholder ("Deleted user") so that the other participant retains a coherent record of their conversation. Message content is preserved on the other participant's side only. Anonymised immediately; removed when the other participant also deletes their account
Crash diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics) No further events linked to your Firebase UID are accepted. Up to 90 days, then auto-purged by Firebase
Analytics events (Firebase Analytics) No further events linked to your Firebase UID are accepted; existing events are aggregated. Up to 14 months, then auto-purged by Firebase

What we cannot delete

We are unable to delete content that another person is the controller of. In particular, the body of chat messages you sent remains visible to the other participant of the conversation (with your name replaced by a placeholder) until they also delete their account or the conversation. We are also unable to delete records that we are legally required to keep (for example, security incident logs).

Ta strona wyjaśnia, jak zażądać usunięcia konta oraz powiązanych z nim danych osobowych w aplikacji mobilnej Dancelinked, której wydawcą jest Dancelinked sp. z o.o. (ul. Andrzeja Sobczaka 1/56, 61-131 Poznań, Polska — KRS 0001243803 · NIP 7822970308 · REGON 544849866). Konto możesz usunąć samodzielnie z poziomu aplikacji albo wysłać nam żądanie usunięcia e-mailem — obie możliwości opisujemy poniżej.

Opcja A — Usuń konto z poziomu aplikacji

To najszybszy sposób — ze skutkiem natychmiastowym.

  1. Otwórz aplikację Dancelinked i zaloguj się, jeśli nie jesteś jeszcze zalogowany(-a).
  2. Z ekranu głównego otwórz Konto.
  3. Wybierz Ustawienia.
  4. Wybierz Usuń konto.
  5. Przeczytaj okno potwierdzenia, a następnie wybierz Potwierdź, aby usunąć konto.

Konto jest dezaktywowane natychmiast: logowanie zostaje zablokowane, powiadomienia push przestają być wysyłane, a Twój profil, posty i zgłoszenia przestają być widoczne dla innych użytkowników i dostępne w wyszukiwarce. Powiązane dane są następnie trwale usuwane najpóźniej w ciągu 30 dni, zgodnie z okresami retencji opisanymi w poniższej tabeli.

Opcja B — Zażądaj usunięcia e-mailem

Jeśli nie możesz już zalogować się na swoje konto, wyślij wiadomość z adresu e-mail przypisanego do Twojego konta Dancelinked na adres:

W temacie wpisz „Account deletion request" (żądanie usunięcia konta) i — jeśli pamiętasz — podaj pełne imię i nazwisko widoczne w Twoim profilu, abyśmy mogli odnaleźć konto. Zanim zrealizujemy żądanie, możemy poprosić Cię o potwierdzenie, że konto należy do Ciebie. Na zweryfikowane żądania odpowiadamy w ciągu 30 dni, zgodnie z art. 12 ust. 3 RODO.

Co dzieje się z Twoimi danymi

Poniższa tabela pokazuje dokładnie, które kategorie danych są usuwane, które są anonimizowane oraz jak długo przechowywane są ewentualne pozostałe zapisy. Lista jest spójna z §7 i §10 naszej Polityki prywatności.

Czego nie możemy usunąć

Nie możemy usuwać treści, których administratorem jest inna osoba. W szczególności treść wysłanych przez Ciebie wiadomości czatu pozostaje widoczna dla drugiego uczestnika rozmowy (z Twoim imieniem i nazwiskiem zastąpionym symbolem zastępczym) do czasu, aż również on usunie swoje konto lub rozmowę. Nie możemy także usuwać zapisów, które musimy przechowywać zgodnie z prawem (na przykład logów incydentów bezpieczeństwa).
